Leagues explained

In order to allow club members to compete with those of a similar ability, each person is placed in an appropriate league (league1 for advanced members and league 2 for other members). New members will usually start in league 2. Non-competing members may opt out.

Three league competitions are held annually and subjects are (a)pictorial and (b) applied.

At the end of the club year, the highest scorers in league 2 are promoted to league 1 and the lowest scorers in league 1 are placed in league 2

The overall winner of each league receives a trophy at the end of the year.
